Born and raised in rural China, Wong immigrated to California in the 1990s with a dream of building a better life. He began as a low-paid carpenter, facing language barriers and limited opportunities. But through perseverance, self-taught English, and a relentless drive to master his craft, he forged his own path.
In just five years, Wong rose from entry-level carpentry to project supervisor, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and leadership skills. Fueled by ambition, he earned his General Contractor’s license and founded JP Building Group—driven by a mission to elevate quality and service in the construction industry.
Today, Wong leads a team committed to the same core values: dedication, integrity, and excellence. Whether it’s a custom home or a major remodel, we bring technical skill, personal care, and unwavering professionalism to every project.
